Having been tutored in the past when I had trouble with my studies, I now want to do the same for students. I want to help students understand material with which they are having issues. I know that, as a student, I needed someone to explain things to me in a way that was "outside of the box," and I am more than happy to do the same for my students. Sometimes we just need to be taught differently in order to understand. I have been a tutor for the past two years. I like to use real-life instances, or interests related to the student, to show how the material is practical and useful. I feel that way, the student absorbs more information. I offer tutoring in Algebra 1-3/4, Geometry, Elementary and Middle School Math, Precalculus, Statistics, Trigonometry, Anatomy, Biology, Physiology, Reading, Writing, Essay Editing, Phonics, Grammar and Mechanics, College Essays, Arithmetic, Environmental Science, Nutrition, Pre-Algebra, Life Sciences, English, and Spanish 1. I am a graduate of La Sierra University, where I graduated with high honors. When I am not working with students, I love be to active, and enjoy personal fitness.
