Experience
I have years of experience tutoring groups of students and in a one-on-one setting as well. Currently, I am a teaching intern at Long Beach City College. Helping students excel in school is a huge passion of mine and it honestly does not feel like work to me because I have so much fun! I have been able to help many students from different backgrounds. Some get the material and just want to stay ahead. Others are struggling and need help mastering the basic concepts. I normally gauge a student after a few sessions and come up with a customized plan to focus on strengthening a student's weaknesses. The key is to keep students motivated while making the material fun and engaging. I have recently obtained a Masters degree in Applied Math from CSULB, Fall 2015. I am currently an instructor for the Math dept at Golden West College.
